A histopathologic and clinical findings on 3 children with hepatoblastoma have been reviewed and discussed. They were under 15 months of life at diagnosis and two were female. The chief complaints were palpable abdominal mass and distension for 1 to 2 months. Alpha-fetoprotein was positive in all three cases. Histopathologic classification was made according to Ishak and Glunz two were pure epithelial type, and one was mixed type of hepatoblastoma having osteoid element. Epithelial components in all cases are admixed in different proportion of fetal and embryonal type cells.
