Tuberculosis in Korea is one of the prevalent infectious disease, but they have been reported only infrequently in appendix. It was first described histopathologically by Corbin in 1837. Tuberculosis involves the appendix as three ways; hematogenous, ingestion and direct dissemiated from adjacent tissue, but the symptoms and signs of appendicitis is mild or absent, nevertheless, case of tuberculous ·appendicitis is rarely founded in surgical pathology. The authors are presenting two cases of tuberculous appendicitis at Han Yang University Hospital recently. The patient was 34 years old female and admitted with complaint of ovarian tumor on right side without having tuberculous in the body, and 21 years told female patient admitted with mesenteric tuberculosis, respectively. Both of them had an operation of incidental appendectomy, otherwise the patients had no signs or symptoms of appendicitis.
