Rhabdomyoscarcoma is a highly malignant and aggressive tumor of the striated muscle. It is most common in the later decades of life and occurs frequently on the upper and lower extremities, head and neck, and genitourinary system. During the period of 11 years and 8 months from 1960 to August, 1971 eighteen cases of rhabdomyosarcoma were encountered. Thirteen cases were male and five were female, and the most frequent location occurred was the extremity, and the next, head and neck. According to the histopathological appearance 10 cases were adult pleomorphic, and 6 were embryonal botryoid, and 2 were embryonal alveolar type.
